It was so much fun working with her on this one, and I was pleased to be a part of her glam team.

Gifty is an actress, a model and presently the most controversial of all the big brother housemates.

She is such a gorgeous girl and Yes!…the pictures came out real nice.

Looking forward to see her shine and wishing her all the best in future projects.

Special thanks to rest of the team who pulled their weight in making her look great. It was fun working with you guys.

5 Reasons To Attend The Lagos Makeup Fair

5 Reasons To Attend The Lagos Makeup Fair

The Lagos Makeup Fair held a while ago, and it was packed with fun and goodies as always. I was so busy attending to clients on the first day of the fair, but I had to attend despite being late. Hubby had to ask why i must go since according to him, it’s the same fair I attend always. It actually got me asking myself why I attend the makeup fair all the time.

Here are some of the reasons why I think the makeup fair is a place to be.

1. The makeup fair is a great place to meet awesome people, network with colleagues, friends and potential clients. You never know who you will ‘jam’ in these places o. Look at me na…I met the cool people of ebony live TV, Olori Supergirl and my very own sisi Yemmie. ( Yes in my head we are besties )

2. You also get to learn more about your craft at these fairs. You watch experts showcase their skills and teach you how to apply certain products. See I got to watch Maybelline’s Bimpe Onakoya work her magic on a model for free.

4. You get first hand information on new products as it’s a place where brands launch and introduce their products.

5. The music, the energy and atmosphere is usually fun. Yes o, it’s all hugs, kisses and laughter at the fair. It’s a fun place to be for beauty lovers. Plus there is always something yummy to eat and drink. Last time I couldn’t get enough of the caramel popcorn but this time, it was one very juicy barbecue chicken and chips that got me.

Even hubby had to agree at this point that, coming to the Lagos Makeup Fair isn’t such a bad idea. (By the way, the 2nd coke is for Oga not me o )

Glam Session- Moji and Bolanle

Glam Session- Moji and Bolanle

Moji and Bolanle are sisters I have known since secondary school. Though we hardly get to see each other, we manage to catch up on the hottest gist every time we hook up. It was their brother’s wedding, and Bolanle had asked me to do her makeup. I was happy to, especially since she had come into the studio, for a quick fix the week before. Here the pictures from that look.LC and Cheeks Makeup on Bolanle Adebisi LC and Cheeks Makeup on Bolanle Adebisi LC and Cheeks Makeup on Bolanle Adebisi

The wedding weekend came and Moji who had made prior arrangements for her own makeup was around as well so it was fun while we prepped the girls. Bolanle loved her look despite the rush. See pictures below.

I didn’t do Moji’s makeup on the day of the wedding but she insisted I took her pictures too. She is still as vein as she was back then…lol. Aren’t we all. She looked really nice. The makeup artist did an awesome job on my darling friend.

The week after the sisters called again for me to do their makeup for another family function. As usual, we had a blast gisting while the girls got ready. Always a pleasure working with friends. Thanks to the awesome duo of Moji and Bolanle for the privilege of working with them.

Charming Bride Elizabeth

Charming Bride Elizabeth

I loved every minute I spent with this Charming Bride Elizabeth. We had never met or had any convo whatsoever before her wedding. Her family friend had booked me to do her makeup and I only saw her on the day of her engagement for the first time.

I have never met a bride who has the courtesy to introduce every single person that walked into the room despite the wedding preparation chaos. Liz was really polite and very patient. It was a really busy period and even though she wasn’t too happy I had to run off on both days, she was still very sweet.

Sadly I couldn’t wait to see her in her really beautiful wedding gown, but I’m very sure she looked really good.

Congratulations to my charming bride Elizabeth.

BRIDAL MAKEUP – CHIGO’S WEDDING

BRIDAL MAKEUP – CHIGO’S WEDDING

Chigos wedding held on Saturday, the 12th of December 2015. She also happens to be my sister-in-law so it was a fun family event. Even though she was down with fever from days before, she managed to pull through and everything went well.

I went with a blue smokey and subtle pink lips because i thought she needed a stronger makeup to brighten her looks. i think it worked well for the entire day plus she really liked it.

Here is a short video clip and some pictures.

With love from Ile-Ife

With love from Ile-Ife

Last weekend was so much fun, so I decided to share this post ‘with love from Ile-Ife’.

It was the coronation of Kabiyesi Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwisi aka Ojaja (II), as the Ooni of Ife. Yours truly was invited by one my very special clients and sisters, Mrs George of Lolar’s Fabrics to glam up the lovely friends of the queen, Olubukola Ogunwusi. I never realized how seriously people took these events until I saw the week long celebrations that ended on Monday the 7th OF December, 2015.

In all, I had a fun weekend and I’m so happy I made the trip, regardless of the short notice. See pictures I managed to take despite the rush and the flock of ladies who wanted to get their makeup done.
