Her designs range from plunging necklines to maxi dresses, jumpsuits with intricate details,Kaftans, wrap dresses and more. I noticed that she uses a lot of light and flowing fabric, making her dresses very easy to throw on for every occasion.

MAC and Samfine Master Class in Lagos Nigeria
So this really happened in Lagos Nigeria,  the MAC and Samfine Master Class???…Still can’t believe it!!!

Tuesday the 15th of November 2016, was a memorable day for me and a few other beauty lovers who had the opportunity to be invited to a private session with celebrity makeup artist Sam Fine.
It was a magical evening, with so much fun. From mingling, to the yummy food and champagne conversations, Jamjam  and I had a blast (Yeolz, hubby was my photographer for the night ) .The venue was lit, the ambience was perfect, the people were beautiful, and the class was very informative. The Venue was Rele’s Gallery and I just love this place. Typical scenario of ‘Beauty meets Art”.

Sam Fine is not a only a great influence on the beauty industry, he is really sweet and very down to earth. There was no dull moment in the class and Sam definitely schooled us on next level skin prep. (See how i just call him Sam…we are now besties in my head o ).  Seriously, the guy is really cool, will share a few tips from the master class later.

We also got to take personal pictures and selfies with him. Yes, each person had a moment with him where he asked us about the class, as he autographed our Sam Fine DVDs. Let me not forget to add that we also got the cutest goodie bag from MAC Cosmetics.

A Day With Lachaé Cosmetics Nigeria

A Day With Lachaé Cosmetics Nigeria

Lachaé Cosmetics a beauty and skin care brand from the United States of America, officially launched in Nigeria yesterday the 31st of October 2016. The brand caters to women of colour and aims at becoming the best at doing so globally.
As part of activities surrounding the launch, the face of Lachaé contest was held and two lovely ladies, Nana and Tamuno emerged as winners.

The competition was a tight one, but the the girls brought their A games, showing their makeup skills and answering all the quesions asked by Tayo of ‘The World PR Media’ who anchored the event.

The guest judges and the Lachaé cosmetics brand manager picked the winners based on their ability to showcase their inner and outer beauty. Most importantly, the face Lachaé is expected to be an ambassador of the brand with positive attributes upholding the reputation of the brand.

Loads of products were on display and it’s impossible not love the richly pigmented products ranging from eyeshadows to lipsticks and so much more. The fact that Lachaé has different palettes with blushes, powders and contour kits makes it even more appealing to makeup artists, who could do with variety of colours, in a single package.

A masterclass taught by Yemisi Seriki of ‘Nsure beauty‘ demonstrated how Lachaé cosmetics can be used to achieve a full face makeover. The ebony skinned  model looked awesome, so this is a clear indication that Lachaé beauty brand is one to look out for.

The company is currently recruiting wholesalers and distributors so it’s a great time for interested parties to come on board. Send an email to for details.

5 things I learned from Google Digital Marketing Training

5 things I learned from Google Digital Marketing Training

Yesterday I attended a Google Digital Marketing Training facilitated by digify bytes NG.

It was a very interactive class with about twenty people. The training was led by Mayowa, a digify bytes trainer, who patiently took us through the learning experience.

Here are some points I gathered from the training that I’d like to share.

1.Digital marketing is taking over globally and Nigeria is no exception. For instance, do you know that we record the highest number of Internet usage in the world, even over South Africa and the likes?

2. While loads of us are still stuck with our conventional ways of marketing, it might interest you to know the several advantages of digital marketing and why it’s the better option for most businesses.

3.Set realistic and attainable goals for your business in order to measure your growth over time.

4.Your digital marketing strategy is key. In order to develop the right tactics to cut across to your market, you need to take the following into consideration.

5.Finally a digital marketing campaign should capture your audience with few words, within the first few seconds. It should be short, apt and appropriate for the audience.

We were actually given an assignment to design a social media advertorial for our businesses. It was nice to learn about other people’s catchy Ads and also very insightful.

Here is what I came up with, for my plus size clothing store, LC and Cheeks.

Learning is a gradual process, and no knowledge is lost. I am glad i went for this class and i hope to use the things i gathered, to help my businesses, and that of my clients.

Who has attended a similar training? Feel free to share.

Lots of Love
