Katy Perry’s H&M Holiday Campaign was announced by the excited singer on her Instagram page. She said “Ladies, Gentlemen and unlabeled, let’s take a petite pause on the beauteous summer we experiencing and open our calendars to the holidays. I am excited that I would be starring in H&M’S Happy and Merry Holiday Campaign launching later this year”. Expressing her desire to work with the massive clothing line, Katy said “I have continued to love integrating H&M pieces into my wardrobe throughout the years. One of the reasons I love the holidays is being able to dress cosy and cute, which H&M executes so well for every budget. I can’t wait for the world to see what we created with Jonas Åkerlund and Dan Jackson.” In these first photos, the pop star who is the only female singer to have five number 1 songs on the billboard, keeps her outfit cosy in a turtle neck sweater and a red silk bow. H&M’s head of design Pernilla Wohlfarht, also expressed their delight in working the music star. He said: “We are so thrilled that Katy Perry will star in our campaign this holiday season. We love everything about Katy, from her incredible talent and energy to her playful sense of personal style”. The star who had teamed up with H&M to promote the Swedish Fashion against AIDS collection in 2009, is once again set, to join the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Gisele Bundchen, who have also starred in H&M campaigns. We really hope that Katy’s vibrant and colorful personality comes to light in this collection.
